Katie Benner joined Fortune in October 2006 and has since written for various sections of the magazine and the web site, with a focus on Wall Street.
Prior to joining Fortune, Benner worked at TheStreet.com and at CNNMoney. Before that she lived in Beijing and worked for the South China Morning Post, ICRT Radio Taiwan, and as a freelancer covering everything from hermit monks to rock climbing in Thailand. She has a B.A. in literature from Bowdoin College.
